I’m Paul Andrew Sneddon, a writer from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. I write stories, poems and flash fiction about working lives, pubs, football, music, friendship and the places we carry home.
From songs to stories
I spent twenty years writing songs. Then something shifted and I started writing prose. I haven’t stopped.

What I write about
Music, friendship, survival, dark humour and life on the west coast of Scotland run through the work. The days that go wrong. The people who keep going.
I’ve written fifteen books so far, including Death, Shore and Burn. There are longer stories, novellas and collections to spend a wee while with.
