The weather in Scotland has been warm and sunny for the last two weeks, with barely a cloud in the sky. While not unheard of it is unusual.
April blue skies,
Where has all the rain gone?
Sunshine, easy mind.
Feels like a new song.
Front step, front porch,
Sitting in the sunshine.
Like a summers day in April,
Let it go and claim my time.
World goes by,
Buses rushing,
Time crushing,
Shouts of anger and joy too.
But I’m sitting here, resting.
Not forever, but for now,
It will do.
Sun going down,
Shadows growing,
Light fades fast.
Tomorrow I’ll put one foot forward,
Into the future,
And out of the past.
